'Suppa~!

Back to school already. Sianz. Even though I had one extra day off and only started school today, its still kinda...irritated? Anw, it was only the first day at school and I already had to put up a performance for the newbie yr ones to try to 'sell' the club to the rest of them so that more people would join drama again this year.

We had only used 3 rehearsals to actually prepare the skit but it took concentration and Mr Ferdinand Quek worked wonders with our club to improve our acting individuals in such a short period of time. We had a few warm-up runs today before going backstage to await our turn after Dr. Ong does his talk to the yr 1s. Sir gave us red bull to drink half and hour before our actual performance.

After the performance, we took the stage. Amazingly, the Yr 1s were a good audience and actually laughed at the jokes more than we had expected them to do so. Overall, it was a very good experience and I hope that I can work with Sir again to form another spectacular performance before I leave the school. =D

Then came the boring stuff. Sad to say. Went back to class and later to a LT for our Leadership Development Programme (LDP)to somewhere in Malaysia. Quite interesting programme I might say. Fast forwarding, we later had an almost 2 hour talk hosted by our principal Dr. Ong. It was not very exciting but I managed to stay awake most of the time while keeping an eye out for teachers as Marcus Choy and Winfred had a nice light nap.

Not too bad for 1st day at school. I hope all of yours were as nice as mine.
